The Constitutional Court decided to removed the MP term to Koco Kokėdhima, accused by the Democratic Party for receiving public funds while being part of the Albanian Parliament.
The opposition said that in violation with the Constitution, the Socialist MP has received public funds through his Abissnet company.
According to the Democratic Party, Article 70 of the Constitution obliges MP Koco Kokėdhima to choose between his term as an MP and being a shareholder of companies that benefit public funds, considering both functions incompatible with each other.
According to the court Kokedhima has benefited 150 public procurements. /albeu.com/
