Terrorism, Kosovo poses the highest risk in the Balkans

Australian Institute for Economy and Peace has revealed figures which show that terrorism on a global scale has increased to 61% during the 2012-2013 period.

This institute has also issued a map, in which the most vulnerable countries appear with a darker color.

The top five countries are Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and Syria.

In addition to these five countries, a high risk of terrorist attacks threatens Angola, Bangladesh, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cōte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Iran, Israel, Mali, Mexico, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Uganda, reports lajmi.net .

In this report, it is noted that Kosovo is the country with the highest risk among countries of former Yugoslavia.

Kosovo is ranked 54th out of 162 countries included in this study, and from neighboring countries, a potential danger also threatens Bulgaria (placed 60), Macedonia (placed 75), while other countries of the former Yugoslavia are much less vulnerable.

Serbia is ranked 89's, Bosnia 86's, Montenegro (87), while Albania, Croatia and Slovenia are not endangered. / Albeu.com /
