Today, ex-prime minister of Albania, Sali Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama by saying that he is the one who made impossible the consensus between the government and the opposition. “The decision to postpone the status of civil employee is the worst act in 23 years of Albanian pluralism”,-said Mr. Berisha, writes “Albeu.com” agency.

“In 23 years of pluralism this is the worst act. All those who have followed the hard but successful democratic developments in the country, know that these developments are based on the laws of the country, constitution and consensus.

On the constitutional doctrine, consensus has the value of the constitutional norms. Despite major controversies he was respected and made possible to overcome difficulties more serious than the current one. In a fierce hostility to the opposition, the government is in all cases beneficiary. The chairman desires to have no relations with the opposition, this is a very dangerous act.

The acts that follow are unpredictable, if you don’t want consensus, you give up every chance to work things out with the opposition. They shouldn't have done this act. We ensured the candidate status for the country, to achieve the opening of negotiations in December, but if they act like this, they make a fatal error "- said Berisha. /Albeu.com/
