Russia's decision to issue visas for citizens of Kosovo with Kosovo passports has overwhelmed Serbia.

We recall that the Russian Embassy in Belgrade has announced that citizens of Kosovo can enter the Russian Federation only on special occasions or when participating in sports events under the representation of the International Olympic Committee and international sports federations.

The largest Serbian daily "Blic" in Saturday's number has dedicated the entire front page to this news.

"Putin recognizes Kosovo's passport", is the headline of "Blic", while the superscript headline writes: "Surprising decision of our great friends."

"Pristina celebrates as Russia after 15 years has recognized their travel documents. Moscow 'clarifies' that only those athletes can benefit", writes" Blic".

On the other hand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, said that "for this, the International Olympic Committee is the one to blame and not the Russians". /
