Schulz on Balkan tour, Albania is his first stop

European Parliament President Martin Schulz will make an official visit to Tirana on Monday. According to Top Channel, he will meet first his counterpart Ilir Meta. After the joint press conference with the head of Parliament, his agenda provides a special meeting with President Bujar Nishani, and then the government leader, Edi Rama, with whom he will also hold a joint press conference.

At the conclusion of his official visit to our country, he will continue his Balkan tour with a similar agenda in Serbia and Bosnia.

This marks the first visit of Martin Schulz as the President of the European Parliament, but the German Social Democrat has visited several times Albania.

On Tuesday he will be in Belgrade, where he will meet the Parliament's Speaker Gojkovic, Prime Minister Vucic and Nikolic. Like in Tirana, Schulz will hold a speech in the Serbian Parliament on Wednesday, before leaving for Sarajevo.

Sarajevo constitutes the last station of his Balkan tour, which ends on Thursday, after the joint press conference with Foreign Minister of Bosnia, Crnadak. /
