Former Croatia’s Prime Minister Ivo Sanader pleaded not guilty to profiteering charges on Thursday.
Unlike the previous time, the trial is now open to public. Sanader is accused of agreeing to take a 3.6mn HRK commission fee from Hypo Bank in exchange for a privileged position in the Croatian market. The former prime minister entered a not guilty plea. The trial finally started today after its beginning was postponed last week due to Sanader’s poor health. /albeu.com/
