Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today in a press conference that for the first time in five years the budget revision is been done with injecting or giving more money in key sectors.

The start of reducing public debt, investing in building roads, new projects, the fund for the new mosque, debt repayment for the disabled, a fund for health, are just some of the planned sectors in this review of the budget.

"There are 3.2 billion are beyond the ambitious target set by the IMF that give us the opportunity to begin to reduce the deficit and public debt, even though the target was to start next year. This is the first time after 5 years, that we have more money. We are not declining", he said stressing that they are governing much better than the previous government.

According to Rama 4.3 billion leks will go to weakest parts of society, persons with disabilities, and the state finally gives them all the money it owns them.

"15.2 billion leks will go for investments, mainly for road infrastructure, those of Valbona, Kukes-Krume, Berat Lushnje and so on. The 51 projects will be now financed 100%. There are 100 other projects in the country, but haven't been completed because of the lack of money" he said.
