Premier Edi Rama had a two-day visit in Venetto Italy, where he met with entrepreneurs of this region, to discuss the potentials and advantages offered by Albania for investment.

In his speech, Rama, noted that the Albanian government has established an association for facilitating foreign investors, avoiding all bureaucracies.

Also, Rama stressed the adoption of the legal framework, which allows investors to obtain rental space for just 1 euro, otherwise, for free, for a period of 20-40 years.

The measure, said Rama, gave immediate results, with an increase of 30% in exports in the country, in less than 7 months.

“This measure has yielded an immediate result in this sector where exports have increased by 30% since our very first year. Because our work as a new government started last year in September, while the support package for the manufacturing sector was implemented at the beginning of this year. So, in less than 7 months we have seen an increase of 30%. In addition, we placed the entire manufacturing sector in the category of exporters without risk, which means that customs’ bureaucratic procedures will be much faster."/albeu.com/
