Following the publication of EC report progress, Prime Minister Rama said in a statement to the media that the closure without delay of the justice reform, will soon open the way negotiations for EU membership.

In a press conference with Ambassador of the EU, Romana Vlahutin, Rama stressed that justice reform is not a task set by Brussels, but it is a task posed by the need to avoid the system of rotten justice to be inherited to the next generations.

"The progress report recommends a timely completion of the comprehensive reform in justice, which means in my view, if the reform in justice will be closed without wasting valuable time and addressed vigorously in the coming months, then our way to start negotiations is open.

On the other hand, the progress report says clear that it is closely related to the consolidation of results, where the emphasis is on investigations, judgments and penalties,"said Rama, while adding that time has come to close an era of non professional, politicized and corrupted administration. /albeu.com/
