Prime Minister Edi Rama reassured today that financial stability in the country is completely intact after the recent events that have affected the Bank of Albania. In a press conference, the head of the government said that the stalemate of the Bank is connected to internal management problems and has no connection with the financial system.

"Everything that has happened this week brought to public attention an internal problem of the Bank, regarding the management. The stalemate of the bank has to do with a problem of internal administration and it isn't related to the financial system. Fortunately, the financial stability is completely intact and guaranteed, "said Rama, who at the start of the conference congratulated the Albanian national team for winning against Portugal last night.

He said that in the meetings held so far, they did not discuss Fullani's replacement. He also rejected the names cast in the media as possible replacements. Rama said that the new governor will come from the field of finance and not from politics. Rama earlier met with the actual governor Elisabeta Gjoni, appointed after Fullani was arrested. /albeu.com/
