The Prosecution of Tirana has sent a letter to the Italian Ministry of Justice asking information about the surveillance equipment "IMSI Catcher”".

Sources said that the Prosecutor of the case, requested the Italian Ministry of Justice detailed information about the training program of both police officers.

The Prosecution's request comes at a time when the "Interforce" mission, did not give any answer about the whereabouts of this equipment. There are suspicions it has entered Albania illegally and could have been used for illegal surveillance.

The Prosecution says that they have information that the equipment has entered a Tirana prison without the permission of the Prosecution, to spy some prisoners with dangerous criminal records.

Sources say that they may have used the equipment to listen to the phone conversations of Vladimir Gjuta, a person for whom the Serious Crimes suspended the investigation. /Albeu.com/
