Representatives of the Presevo Valley want to be part of the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and demand the same rights that Serbs have in Kosovo.

President of the National Council in the Presevo Valley, Jonuz Musliu, accompanied by the mayors of the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac asked the Government to ask for more rights for Albanians of the Presevo Valley.

"While Kosovo Serbs have all textbooks from Serbia, why shouldn't we have Albanian textbooks and now is the time. It is the 21st century and we do not have textbooks in the Presevo Valley. This is absurd," Musliu said.

During their stay in Pristina, representatives of the Presevo Valley met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture, Kujtim Shala, with whom also signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of culture.

"These memos that extend to three years are worth about 450 thousand euros", said Shala.

On this occasion, representatives of the Valley urged both governments in Pristina and Tirana to help Albanians in the Valley./
