Parliament commission to investigate dismissals in HCJ

With 76 votes in favor, the Parliament adopted today the decision to create an investigative commission to examine the request of the majority for the dismissal of two members of the High Council of Justice elected by the Parliament, Elvis Cefa and Lulzim Lelaj.

The Commission shall have nine members, five from the majority and four from the opposition.

The majority on the committee will be represented by MPs Armando Subashi Spartak Braho, Taulant Balla, Besnik Bare and Ulsi Maja.

This committee will verify the data, the facts and circumstances of violations of the law by the two members of the High Council of Justice, that according to the majority, are a reason to dismiss them. /
