Albanian President Bujar Nishani had a meeting with the High Commissioner on National Minorities, Astrid Thors. In the meeting the head of the state described the Presevo Valley as "South Serbia". Kosovo media say "Presevo has been called always Eastern Kosovo while Nishani decided to call it South Serbia".

"Focusing on the rights of Albanians in South Serbia, the President noted that the implementation of 7-point plan by the government in South Serbia is a priority that also needs to go along with more investments and economic development. The president also highlighted the importance of signing the agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas or degrees between Albania and Serbia, as a step that will boost youth employment from South Serbia educated in Albania, and won't bring any abandonment and depopulation of the area ", reads the press release from the presidency of Albania.

Such a blunder, if we can consider it as such, was also commented on social networks. / /
