Majority reacts on the proposal of Topi

Members of the ruling majority in the parliamentary commission on economy rejected in Tuesday the decree of the President of the Republic, who proposed Sali Shehu for the post of the chairman of the Supreme State Audit. The candidacy proposed by the President was rejected by the Democratic Party lawmakers with 11 votes and 1 abstention, while Socialist Party lawmakers did not participate in the voting process. Right-wing lawmakers argued that the candidate did not meet the professional criteria to perform this function.
