International Monetary Fund (IMF) has expressed concern about increasing food prices, because it affects the poorest population. The spokeswoman, Susan Atkinson stressed that it is important to take measures in order to support those who are most affected by the movement of prices.

Besides food price increasing, Atkinson said that the problem remains the increase in inflation in some developing countries. According to her, some of these countries have come to the point of "heat potential" for that reason in some cases, their central banks began to make a severe monetary policy.
