Just a day after he was accused by the opposition for staging and paying money for the incident in Goshince, PM Nikola Gruevski said that institutions will respond resolutely to provocations.

"I wish to send a message to all involved - this is not 2001. The state institutions will act resolutely and decisively within their competencies. The fifth-column provocateurs should take fully responsible position on the case, as this is no longer a daily-basis politics and their foolishness, attacks, threats and approach to this case have another context. This is a serious matter as our state is at stake," Gruevski said.

Gruevski also urged the opposition to restrain from speculations.

"I'll take the statements of opposition leader at his last press conference as a reflection of his capacity, lack of knowledge and appeal for restraint if these people are cable of it. This matter is not at all innocent and regardless of the personal feelings - hatred, frustrations - I ask the opposition to restrain from speculations, the PM said. /
