Head of Greece's diplomatic office in Kosovo, Ambassador Constantina Athanassiadou, said that her state still has not recognized Kosovo's independence, but did not exclude that possibility.

"In principle we do not exclude recognition," said Athanassiadou, in a lecture to the students of the college AAB.

She said that from the five EU countries that have not recognized Kosovo, Greece is the country that has been more flexible regarding this issue.

Athanassiadou added that although Greece has not recognized the country, it has helped its membership in international organizations.

She mentioned the IMF membership of Kosovo in 2009, when Greece had voted in favor, while in 2011 they supported the EBRD membership. /albeu.com/
