Embassies of the former Yugoslavia, Kosovo ignored

Countries of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY) have reached an agreement on the division of property of former diplomatic representatives. According to the agreement, Macedonia, in the first phase of the division has won the Australian embassy in Canberra and the consulate in Athens. In this division of property, Kosovo has been overlooked, since it was a constituent autonomous part of the federation, but under the constitution it was part of Serbia.

Under the separation agreement, Serbia will give to Croatia the embassy buildingin Vienna and two apartments in Trst.

Slovenia will take the residence in Rome, Consulates in Klagenfurt and in Milano. Bosnia-Herzegovina will benefit home residence in Budapest and in Washington.

Serbia receives embassy in Prague and residences in Washington and Ottawa. The division was under the quota agreement of the former members of the federation. The next separation will be done during September. /albeu.com/
