The Democratic Party appealed another law to the Constitutional Court. This time was against the establishing of the Bureau of Investigation, a structure of the Interior Ministry that will deal with corruption. DP MP Arben Ristani said that this structure is clearly anti-constitutional, because it transfers to the government the competences of the Prosecution.
"It is a violation of democracy and its foundations. We are surprised on the fact that how will corruption be investigated by appointees of the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Affairs", he said.
He also commented the justice reform, saying that it must involve all parties, it must have the approval of everyone and the Venice Commission.
