During the 69th session of the General Assembly of the UN, Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati held bilateral meetings with his counterparts Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson from Iceland, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah from Kuwait and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan , from the United Arab Emirates.

At the meeting with the Minister Sveinsson, Bushati appreciated the support in the integration process and its contribution to Kosovo.

The two ministers signed an agreement to eliminate double taxation between the two countries and said that this agreement will serve as the impetus for the growth of future economic cooperation, cooperation in several fields of interest, such as renewable energy, environment and health.

They also shared views on the situation in Ukraine, the global threat that terrorism poses today and the importance of dealing with it.

Bushati also held a meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
The two ministers discussed about relations between the two countries and deepening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, water, energy and tourism.

With the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Bushati appreciated the growing dynamics of political exchanges between the highest authorities of the two countries. /albeu.com/
