Hague Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz says the prosecution would do everything it could so that the trial of Ratko Mladic would be sped up as much as possible.
The former military leader of Serbs in Bosnia was indicted for war crimes and genocide.
After a meeting at the Prosecutors Office of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo on Tuesday, Brammertz told reporters that the tribunal's prosecution had called for two separate trials in Mladic's case, but that the judges had rejected this request.
