PM Sali Berisha met with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C. At a news briefing before the meeting, Clinton said: "The prime minister and his country have been strong partners with the United States in NATO as part of our mission in Afghanistan, and we have a broad and deep relationship that we highly value. I’m looking forward to discussing with Prime Minister Berisha a lot of the issues that we’re working on bilaterally, regionally, and globally."
