Berisha: Infant mortality rate, reduced

Prime Minister Sali Berisha said at Wednesday's regular government meeting that infant mortality rate has reduced to a one-digit level, ranking Albania in the developed countries group. The Premier underlined that international institutions certified data show improvement in several important indicators for the economic-social level of the country, where infant mortality rate is the lowest among all former-communist countries; adult mortality rate is the lowest in the world. Likewise, PM Berisha underlined that Albania ranks third for the easiest access in health service. According to him, it is important to preserve this indicator and invest in regional institutions, labs, etc. /albeu.com/
