About 1,350 people lose their lives in Macedonia each year as a result of health problems caused by air pollution.

World Bank report published three years ago, said that if Macedonia meets the European standards regarding ecology and reduces the concentration of PM10 and PM25 particles in the air, over 800 lives per year will be saved", "Almakos" reports.

Despite these figures released by the World Bank, the Institute of Public Health claims that in 2011 the number of dead in Macedonia, as a result of air pollution, is only 300. /albeu.com/
