A Bulgarian court has ruled to keep behind bars the 5 Albanians detained for crossing the border illegally. The court also suspects that all men are connected to ISIS. They were detained on August 28th near the Bulgarian-Macedonian border, in the checkpoint of "Gueshevo", one of the three border crossings with Bulgaria.

They were traveling with Fatos Redzhipi, who attempted to bribe the guards with 175-euros each and this raised doubts and brought to their arrest.

The 36-year-old, who was the only person who possessed identification documents is already behind bars and is expected to address the Court of Appeal for his measure.

As Bulgarian media report, he said he was sorry for what he did, but they were his friends and they wanted him to take them to Turkey.

The men arrested are Flamur L 23, Besnik Bytyci 24 years old, L.K 20 and Atmir Bytyci 20. Three of them said they are from Kosovo and had no ID cards, while the fourth person said he did have an ID, but refused to provide it to the police.

The prosecution said that these citizens will face charges of illegal border crossing that provides 5 years in prison and a fine of 100 to 300 levs.

The Prosecution also is investigating allegations that they are connected to ISIS. In a statement to "BTV" Bulgarian Defense Minister Nikolai Nenchev said, it is not known how the group had crossed the border, but there is suspicion about various radical groups. /albeu.com/
