Speaking to Greek TV channel "Skai", Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama said he has no intention to āchange the borders of Albania.
"We have no claim to change borders and take any piece of land from Greece, Serbia and Macedonia to create this way the Natural Albania. No! Time has come to look at each other in the eyes. Is it possible that those people who left their country, cannot return to the place they were deported? This topics of the past ignite nationalism.
Commenting on the relations between the two countries, Rama said that time has come to resolve contentious issues.
"If you look at the big picture, this is a very important relationship. But we have look at the small picture, where we have some issues to resolve. Interests of both Albanians and Greeks are bigger than these issues," he said. Asked about what he wrote on Facebook for Acropolis, Rama said that if we knowledge the past it will help us to better understand ourselves in the future. "There is no idea to gather all the Albanians, but EU would be a place to gather."
