After Astrit Dehari, a self-determination activist died at the prison of Prizren in unclear circumstances, his party has demanded an investigation over his death.
The movement blamed the government for Dehari's death and expressed doubts about media reports suggesting he arrived dead at a hospital after allegedly swallowing a fatal dose of prescription medicine.
Dehari was one of the six people accused for an attack against the Kosovo Parliament this August. Before his death, the Self-Determination Movement held a symbolic action at the Prizren prison, where they said Astrit Dehari was being held for 67 days for no valid reason.
