France: Serbia may not be part of EU without recognizing Kosovo
Wikileaks has published a cablegram which shows France-Serbia relations regarding Kosovo. According to the cablegram, France has made clear that Serbia can not enter the EU without Kosovo's independence.

In a letter sent by the U.S. Embassy in Brussels was noted a report from the meeting of political directors of Quint (Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain and the Secretariat of the Council of Europe) that was held on January 11, 2010, where Serbia "was strongly discouraged" in its request to the UN to start talks on Kosovo's status.

France's political director, Roland Galarazh also said that France does not want a new Cyprus. /albeu.com/
