The episode that shocked Poliēani this morning and that resulted with one murder and one suicide took on even more tragic proportions when the division chief's brother in the dismantling Poliēani plant beheaded the author of the murder, who had committed suicide afterwards.
Keeper of the plant, Gėzim Dervishi, killed the chief of weapons department, Vladimir Guri, and then committed suicide.
The event occurred on the premises of the plant, while workers were getting ready to start work.
Eyewitnesses, fellow workers, said that the two had at first a verbal discussion that degenerated in the use of weapon.
Police arrived at the scene to shed light into the causes of the episode.
Then the brother of the division chief, Kushtrim Guri, cut Dervishi's head and left the crime scene.
Police are making searches for Kushtrim Guri, and have launched a full investigation to shed light into the causes of the tragic and horrific episode.
It is suspected that the murder happened for reasons of jealousy, because Vladimir Guri had harassed the wife of the divison keeper.
Poliēani plant is currently undergoing a reform in personnel, which is expected to bring about a number of cuts.
